Star Wars Reviews (Legends Canon)

Here is a collected list of all of the reviews I have done for works set in the Galaxy Far, Far Away, or the universe created by the Star Wars films/novels/comics/games. The list is far from definitive, since I read most of the existing Expanded Universe tales long before beginning this blog. This page charts the so-called “Legends” material, or everything that got tossed as part of Disney’s scheme to keep the franchise alive. There will be a second page I add to chart the new material as well, but I’m keeping this alive as an alternate universe.

I’ve ordered these reviews chronologically by when they are supposed to happen. Since the animated Clone Wars contradicts a bunch of the previously-established canon for that period and is considered to be part of the new canon, I’m leaving it out here. It’s still supposed to have happened, given that Luke goes on this epic quest for Mortis late in the timeline, but I’m making the executive decision to omit it from this page. Dates in the GFFA are typically measured by Years BBY or ABY–Before or After the Battle of Yavin. Think BC and AD, with the tipping point being Episode IV: A New Hope.

One last thing: continuity in the GFFA was pretty much constantly changing. There may be details here and there that conflict, but this should be more or less accurate.
